The UCLA Santa Monica Outpatient Surgery and Medical Building is a LEED Gold Certified 45,000 square foot outpatient surgery and oncology center designed with sustainable and green-building strategies to provide a non-clinical environment. The three-story medical building houses eight operating rooms with a combination PreOp and PACU for outpatient surgery, sterilization, a linear accelerator for radiation oncology, laboratory and pharmacy. Building systems include passive solar design, a photovoltaic system and the first totally automated parking system on the west coast.
